Reflections of my Daughter's Wedding #3

After a wedding come the reception – the party time to celebrate.  When followers of Christ marry, there is much to celebrate.  This couple has established a home of faith that will represent God’s love and grace.  Jason & Alycia’s reception was held at a community park under a perfect picnic shelter – it was perfect just like the weather.  Alycia’s best friend from high school, Tina, did an outstanding job of decorating the large, outdoor space to make it into a wedding reception.

Tina created this sign to match their invitations – this was at the entrance

Flowers lining the entrance to the reception

A Western PA Wedding Tradition – a cookie table (cookies made by all of our friends).  The banner above the table was made by Jason’s family business, Filmet.  There were 3 banners that decorated the backdrop of the shelter.

The Cake was made my our good friend, Dawn Smith (contact me if you want information on her cake business)

Cupcakes by Vanilla Pastry Studio (they were so good)

Being toasted by their siblings – such fun.  I love Alycia’s fun yellow sandals.

Thanks so much for inviting me to be a part of Alycia’s and Jason’s once in a life time moment. Very warm memories ~I will carry and then grin.
